Our outdoor IP68 LED Strip Lights are ultra-durable and are fully water and dust resistant. Fully encapsulated in Polyurethane glue (PU) it is ideal for use externally and it can be submersed under water, up to 3 metres. The PU provides more protection and it is ultra flexible. The strips are also ideal for use in areas where they may be exposed to high moisture or water splashes, such as showers, wet rooms, bathrooms, pools, ponds, lettering etc.
Please note that even though the strip itself is submersible, the connector must be sealed in an adequate housing or be positioned in a dry area.
For the single colour strips, the LED's light a steady constant colour. The RGB Multicoloured strips have Red, Green, and Blue alternating LED's and can be set to light any one or a combination of these colours. The RGB strips can also be made to cycle between different effects such as flash, strobe, smooth fade etc.
The LED's can be wired directly in to any 12v source or be connected to an AC adaptor using a DC Converter Cable. The DC Converter & the AC Adaptor are NOT included but the AC Adaptor is available as an optional extra.. The remote control and receiver are only supplied with the RGB lights.
